In what’s been quite the busy week in the public eye, Kate Middleton was back out for another celebration of Queen Elizabeth II in London, England on Saturday (June 16). The Duchess of Cambridge looked fashionably fabulous in a silver-grey Erdem dress paired with a matching Jane Corbett hat as she hopped aboard a carriage at Buckingham Palace. Joined by Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Prince Harry , the trio were among the many embarking on the Queen’s Birthday Parade, Trooping the Colour. The ceremony of Trooping the Colour is believed to have first been performed during the reign of King Charles II. In 1748, it was decided that the parade would be used to mark the official birthday of the Sovereign. More than 600 guardsmen and cavalry make up the parade, a celebration of the Sovereign’s official birthday, although the Queen’s actual birthday is on April 21st.
